Getting started

Do I get legal advice from this website?
No. The information on this site is general and not legal advice. Contact us to discuss your situation. Visiting this site or messaging us does not create an attorney–client relationship.
How do I schedule a consultation?
Use our Contact page, call (833) 456-8706, or email contact@dajohnsonlaw.com. We’ll confirm availability and any intake details.
Which jurisdictions do you serve?
Our attorneys are licensed in: North Carolina. We handle matters in those jurisdictions and, where appropriate, work with local counsel elsewhere.
Do you offer virtual consultations?
Yes—phone and video appointments are available. Let us know your preference when you contact us.

Fees & billing

What are your fees?
Fees depend on the matter type and scope. We use hourly, flat-fee, or contingency arrangements where permitted. Your engagement letter will spell out terms before any work begins.
Do you require a retainer?
Many matters begin with a retainer (trust deposit). We bill against it and provide statements showing activity.
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept major cards, ACH, and checks. For online payments, use our secure link on the Contact page or the link we send you directly.

Case process

What happens after I contact the firm?
We perform a conflict check, review your information, and determine next steps. If we can help, we’ll send an engagement agreement outlining scope and fees.
How will I receive updates?
We communicate by email, phone, and—if you opt in—text message for reminders/updates. You can set preferences at any time.
Can you guarantee an outcome?
No—every matter is unique. Past results do not guarantee a similar outcome. We’ll explain risks and options.
